Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival 2009

March 13-15…. Three days of Jazz Blues Funk ‘n Fun!

SIMON TEDESCHI
Australia’s premier pianist will be accompanied by the great jazz violinist Ian Cooper. Both have been playing to sell out crowds across the world over the past 12 months. Simon’s gigs on the two weekends prior to the Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival are in Rome & Salt Lake City……don’t miss them in Kiama!

BRUCE MATHISKE and GEORGE GOLLA
A sell out at the 2008 festival and these guitar virtuosos are back by popular demand!

EUGENE “ Hideaway” BRIDGES
From touring the world, from his home in Houston, Texas, Eugene’s back to Kiama in 2009! Eugene played to a packed house at the 2008 festival & we want more! Swinging blues from the “Sam Cooke” of the US Blues scene.

JOHN HARKINS QUARTET
Originally from the USA, John brings some classic jazz appeal to our festival, with his superb piano skills. He recently played with Harry Connick Jnr Band and accompanied Barbara Morrison on her recent Australian tour…and he can sing too..

And….favourites …Ray Beadle, Jan Preston, Pugsly Buzzard Wateringcan, dLivr with Byron Mark, Viva the Band …and lots of other feature artists are still being finalized so stay tuned.
